Graduating in 1995 from Edinburgh College of Art with a BA (hons) degree in Performance Costume Design I have now established my studio space in Sneinton, Nottingham.

My influences are many and varied, however I am drawn to developing conceptual ideas in particular working from nature, history and archaeology, all things ancient and textured. Angels, marionettes and the baroque feature heavily in my work and I am constantly fascinated and inspired by dreams and memory – the way in which we store elements of our roots and past experiences, sometimes to be revealed again at unexpected moments.
